11 am- 1:30 pm–Annual Soup and Pie Day Drive-Up/Take Out at St. Joseph Catholic Church Dine in or take out with our drive through for our great homemade soups and pies! Also a Silent Basket Auction! (Fundraiser)
5:30 pm—Make Pine Pots at Laughing Earth Gardens (No need to sign-up. Just show up!)

Friday, December 6
8:30 am—4:30 pm—Holiday Open House Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union. Enjoy holiday treats, refreshments & a gift. Specials include checking accts that pay you & home equity loans at la ow rate. Stop in and see Carrie & Tera!
5– 8 pm—Party on the Prairie at Log Museum at Prairie Village. Preview 33 Christmas trees, live music, wine & beer tasting & appetizers. $25 (limited tickets) Call 218-784-6904 for tickets. (Fundraiser Norman County Historical Society)

8:30 am—1 pm—Farmers Market at Kinfolk Market featuring local growers, bakers, makers & youth entrepreneurs

9 am—2:30 pm—Huge Craft Show at Ada-Borup-West School (Cougar Den Multi-Purpose Room)
*Salvation Army Bell Ringers
*Local artist Buffy Rockstad offering Fingerprint Ornament making (one of the first spots when entering the Cougar Den)
9 - 11 am—Coffee & Rolls at Ada-Borup-West School Commons (fundraiser Hegne Hustlers 4-H & Woodland 4-H)
9 - 11 am—Shopping for Mom & Dad with Santa’s Elves Ada-Borup-West School, Ms Crompton's Room. Free. Event. Sponsored by ECFE
10 am—4 pm—Festival of Trees - Prairie Village Log Museum. (Live music, door prizes, treats & trains) $5 Children 16 & under free. Fundraiser
11 am—1 pm—Santa Clause, Cookie Decorating & Craft Projects (Ada-Borup-West School Commons area) Visit Santa, decorate cookies, craft projects & treats for kids! (sponsors: American Legion, Ada VFW, Ada-Borup-West FCCLA, City of Ada, Borup Community Club Gaming 01894 & Ada Chamber of Commerce)
11 am - 2 pm - Lunch served in Ada-Borup-West School Commons. Soup & sandwiches, hot dogs, bars & beverages. (Fundraiser Hegne Hustlers 4-H & Woodland 4-H)

3 pm—Ada-Borup-West School Theater presents “Frozen Jr” Free Admission for all students K-12 sponsored by Borup Community Club Gaming 01894. (A donation box will be available donations of non-perishable food items for food shelf)
4:15– 6:30 pm— Live Nativity Scene with Live Animals & Caroling at Zion Lutheran Church. Hot Cocoa & Bake Sale with lots of goodies in entry way of Church. Sponsored by Zion Lutheran Youth Group (West 3rd and Jamison Drive) Parking available on north side of church)
4:15—6:30 pm—Huge Light Display Drive by at 209 N. Jamison Drive (Mike and Angie Nelson’s Christmas wonderland) The Ada Fire Department will collect food for the food shelf . Donations of cash or new toys will be accepted for the Ada Future Leaders Christmas Gifts for Youth project. (Head North on Jamison Drive off of Hwy 200 and continue to the west on West 3rd Ave. in a one way direction. Parking available at Zion Lutheran Church parking lot)
7 pm—Ada-Borup-West School Theater presents “Frozen Jr” Ada-Borup-West School Auditorium. Adults $8, Students $5

The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce works hard to plan for Ada's future. We sponsor community events, promote local business, keep an eye on government issues and promote the Ada community. We also reply to calls and letters of inquiry about the Ada area. We work hard to preserve the quality of life in our community.
